Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, is responsible for on-boarding and management of strategic client relationships for new and existing clients. As the key point of contact for these clients, the Client Manager is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and advocating for changes in our client’s services to meet evolving client requirements while balancing the business needs of the organization. Collaborates with departments across the organization to deliver superior customer service to our clients.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Serves as point of escalation for both the customer and WTS team members in matters that relate to billings, contract interpretation and service delivery.
  • Works with Oracle counterparts as required for Oracle On Demand hosted customers.
  • Is responsible for contract renewals.
  • Is responsible for analyzing monthly billing to customers for accuracy.
  • Prepares proposals for new services/offerings.
  • Analyzes business requirements and works with customer and PMO in delivery of new product offerings and software upgrades.
  • Facilitates customer communication on a regular basis.
  • Provides ongoing support and account management for clients including reporting (varies by customer).
  • Assesses new business opportunities with existing customers in an effort to sell new WTS services.
  • Works with other members of the Customer Service team to develop policies and procedures that assist in delivering WTS services and execute corporate initiatives as directed.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Communications or similar field required. MBA or Masters degree preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in Client Service, Account Management or Engagement Management required.
  • 5-7 years experience in ERP Management or IT Environment required.
  • JD Edwards & Oracle experience preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication, team-building and problem-solving.
  • Strategic level thinking with proven tactical execution.
  • Superior project management with excellent knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project.
  • Strong customer service focus with a passion to exceed customer requirements.
  • Positive, solution focused personality.
  • Sense of humor and ability to perform successfully in a rapidly changing, growth environment.
  • Some out of state travel required (25-30%).

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting (up to eight or more hours).
  • Keyboarding.
  • Some light bending.
  • Reaching and lifting (up to 25 lbs.).
