WTS manages and operates a secure, state-of-the-art data center in Seattle, Washington. The current data center is sized to service thousands of active users and their complementary products. Our second data center is in Denver, Colorado and is used for disaster recovery.

Data Center Security

WTS's data center facility has 24-hour security. The data center is protected by both card access as well as unique touch key passcodes. We control entry to this facility by granting access to only authorized WTS personnel.

Environmental Conditions and Monitoring

Our data center is equipped to monitor for smoke, water, heat, and power loss. WTS technicians are notified via pager of any events that may cause degradation in customer service due to a change in environmental conditions. Building security is automatically notified of any environmental or security alarms.

System Backups

We perform daily backups on all servers. All backup tapes are collected each day and delivered to an off-site commercial tape storage facility. This facility is protected against all foreseeable physical threats, fire, flood, earthquake, and theft. WTS-defined rotation schemes provide for retention of daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual backup tapes.

Disaster Recovery

WTS provides disaster relief for our customers, regardless of where the disaster occurs. The methods employed are designed to allow for recovery from customer system disasters, total system failure, complete data center outages, and network failures. Our disaster recovery plan is tested and updated on a regular basis.
