Leadership with Experience

The success WTS has demonstrated in hosting enterprise solutions is a direct result of the experience and dedication of our management team and staff. This team averages more than 18 years of industry, IT, and/or JD Edwards experience. These key leaders have held positions with JD Edwards, JD Edwards customers, and IBM. Our executive leadership fosters our corporate culture and drives our dedicated employees.

Management Team

 

Tom Hughes, President and CEO
Tom founded WTS in 1997 and serves as president, CEO and chairman of the board. Tom sets the strategic vision and direction of WTS and leads the operations of the company.

Tom has over 25 years of general management and IT experience and has been working with JD Edwards solutions for over 20 years. As an early adopter of JD Edwards software, Tom was instrumental in the development and strategic direction of the JD Edwards software product family, and its use in a hosted environment.

 

Greg Giordano, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Greg joined WTS in May of 2005. He is responsible for the strategic direction and management of the company's sales and marketing operations and oversees the sales of WTS' hosting solutions and infrastructure services including disaster recovery, co-location and business continuity solutions.

Greg has over 15 years of executive sales and marketing experience most recently as the General Manager of sales operations for Electric Lightwave, a division of Citizens Communications. Prior to Citizens, Greg served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for BioNetwork and as Regional Manager for US West's New Ventures Group. Greg brings a wide variety of industry experience to WTS having held senior management positions in the fields of communications, network and infrastructure services, e-commerce, web publishing, and Internet advertising.

 

Lauri Cronkite, Director of Finance and Administration
Lauri joined WTS in 1997 when the company was founded. She is responsible for the financial management, controls, and reporting procedures for WTS. In addition, Lauri directs the development and implementation of human resource policies and practices.

Lauri has over 20 years of corporate accounting experience with large, multi-national companies including Fletcher Construction North America and Fletcher Challenge Industries U.S.A., Inc., and has been an active user of Oracle software since 1987.

 

Tom Hogan, Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel
Tom joined WTS in February 2000. He manages the legal affairs of WTS and provides strategic guidance to the management team.

Tom has over 25 years of business and technology law experience, having served as general counsel for Data I/O Corporation, VP and general counsel for Egghead Software, and regional editor for CBS/Holt, Rinehart, and Winston.

 
 
  

Larry McFadden, Chief Security Officer
Larry joined WTS in 1997 when the company was founded. He is responsible for the overall security architecture and design of the hosting solutions offered by WTS. He is also responsible for internal audit and controls along with responsibility for the SAS70 II audit.

Larry’s prior responsibilities at WTS have been Telecommunication Manager, IT Directory and Chief Architect. Larry has over 20 years experience with IBM, where he developed a unique blend of technical and application knowledge in telecommunications, data center management, and network infrastructure.

  

Sam Rediess, Vice President of Hosting Services
Sam joined WTS in 2003. He is responsible for WTS' hosting service delivery including customer service and IT operations. Sam has over 20 years of IT management experience including data center operations, business process definition, change management procedures, software development lifecycle, security, disaster recovery planning, infrastructure management, and telecommunications.

Before joining WTS, Sam was a principal for a privately held consulting company specializing in project management. Prior to that he held positions as a project manager, information systems manager, and managed data centers on nuclear class submarines for five years while he was in the United States Navy.

 

Richard Dolewski – Vice President, Business Continuity Services
Richard joined WTS in 2007. He is responsible for disaster recovery and business continuity services at WTS. Richard is a certified systems integration specialist and disaster recovery planner and is globally recognized as a subject matter expert for Business Continuity for the IBM iSeries and i5 environments. He has over 20 years of experience supporting companies that need Recovery Plan Consulting, Disaster Recovery Solutions, and High Systems Availability.

An author and frequent technical contributor to publications such as Common and iSeries Magazine, Richard is a winner of numerous speaking awards at Common and a member of Common Speaker Hall of Fame. Richard was previously managing partner and equity owner of Mid-Range Technical Services, Inc.

Rick Allen, former JD Edwards Executive Vice President and CFO
Rick has been involved with WTS since its inception in 1997, and joined the WTS board of directors in early 2002. Rick is the prior executive vice president and CFO for JD Edwards. He was with JD Edwards for over 18 years and was a member of the JD Edwards board of directors since September 1991.
