HATHAWAY DINWIDDIE CONSTRUCTION RENEWS WTS HOSTING CONTRACT FOR J.D. EDWARDS SOFTWARE

Seattle, Washington, August 23, 2002 - WTS, Inc., the first application service provider (ASP) partner for J.D. Edwards software, announced that Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Group (Hathaway Dinwiddie) signed a three-year contract extension with WTS for hosting J.D. Edwards enterprise software applications. Hathaway Dinwiddie, a well-known construction company based in San Francisco, was an early adopter of enterprise application hosting. This contract extension reflects to date a commitment of eight years with WTS for hosting and support services; and it reflects the many benefits Hathaway Dinwiddie has received working with WTS.

"We have a partnership with WTS that goes way beyond operational support of J.D. Edwards," says Mark Liew, senior vice president and CIO for Hathaway Dinwiddie. "In WTS we found a partner that would exceed our expectations in hosting a full-featured enterprise product, allowing our employees to focus on the success of our many construction projects. We depend on WTS and the expertise of its staff to relieve our IT department of the day-to-day operational burden of running software."

Hathaway Dinwiddie's historical projects include the erection of landmark buildings such as the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco and the Getty Center in Los Angeles. Today the firm specializes in building micro-electronic and semiconductor manufacturing facilities, in addition to office buildings. The company's success can be attributed to using the latest techniques and technology combined with a personalized, collaborative approach to customer service.

"The WTS / Hathaway Dinwiddie relationship has been beneficial for both companies," according to Tom Hughes, president and CEO of WTS, Inc. "Hathaway Dinwiddie has found significant business value in outsourcing to WTS, as evidenced in this second renewal; and WTS has always valued Hathaway Dinwiddie as a key account—they displayed confidence in WTS when we were a new ASP, and Hathaway Dinwiddie has always been an important reference for us. For five years, WTS has supported the operational and infrastructure needs of Hathaway Dinwiddie. We will continue to host J.D. Edwards software in addition to the complementary products needed by this valued customer."
