WTS PRESIDENT & CEO JOINS ITAA LEADERSHIP BOARD OF DIRECTORS

SEATTLE - WTS, Inc., the first application service provider (ASP) partner for J.D. Edwards collaborative enterprise software, today announced that its president and CEO, Tom Hughes, has joined the Information Technology Association of America's (ITAA) ASP Leadership Board of Directors.

"In recent years, the ITAA has emerged as a leader in defining the strategic direction of the ASP industry and provides invaluable resources to its members," said Hughes. "I'm honored to be a director on their prestigious ASP Leadership Board and look forward to working side-by-side with industry peers like Corio, IBM, BlueStar Solutions, and ManagedOps.com to ensure our collective success in the years to come."

ITAA provides global public policy, business networking, and national leadership to promote the continued rapid growth of the IT industry. Hughes founded WTS, Inc. in 1997 and currently leads the strategic direction of the company while also overseeing all of its operations. A seasoned technology veteran, he has nearly 25 years of general management and IT experience including 15 years as IT Director at Fletcher North America, a $1.2B international construction company. One of the first adopters of J.D. Edwards WorldSoftware™, Hughes has been instrumental in the development of J.D. Edwards software products and was a founding member of the J.D. Edwards User Group, which eventually became Quest.
