WTS TO PROVIDE HOSTING SERVICES FOR OPTIKA CUSTOMERS

Seattle, Washington, January 28, 2002 - World Technology Services Inc. (WTS), the first application service provider (ASP) partner for J.D. Edwards (Nasdaq: JDEC) collaborative commerce software, announced it will provide hosting services for Optika Inc. (Nasdaq: OPTK) Acorde solutions. Optika is a leading provider of imaging, workflow, and collaboration software, for both single- and multi-site organizations. Optika has more than 2000 customers worldwide including The Home Depot, Turner Broadcasting Systems, Siemens Communications, Caterpillar, Verizon Wireless, and Clear Channel Communications.

WTS focuses solely on hosting J.D. Edwards OneWorld®, WorldSoftware™, co-existence applications and complementary products. The WTS charter is to provide a "total IT solution" including hosting and support of J.D. Edwards software and complementary applications, in addition to wide area network installation and support. Under the agreement, WTS and Optika will jointly market Optika solutions to new and existing WTS customers. WTS will provide hosting services for the end user as well as first line technical and help desk support.

WTS is currently hosting an Optika solution for CarrAmerica Realty Corporation (NYSE: CRE), one of the largest property developers and operators of commercial office space in the United States. WTS is providing a J.D. Edwards co-existence environment for over 500 CarrAmerica users in 12 markets. By outsourcing its Optika Acorde applications with WTS, CarrAmerica is able to focus on its core business of developing and operating properties.
