PELSTAR SELECTS WTS TO PROVIDE HOSTING FOR J.D. EDWARDS SOFTWARE

PELSTAR GOES LIVE IN LESS THAN 90 DAYS

Seattle, Washington, August 5, 2002 - WTS, Inc., the first application service provider (ASP) partner for J.D. Edwards software, announced it has implemented a hosted J.D. Edwards solution for Pelstar, LLC. Pelstar, located in Bridgeview, Illinois, is a privately held manufacturer and distributor of medical, office, and food service scales.

WTS focuses solely on hosting J.D. Edwards OneWorld®, WorldSoftware™, co-existence applications, and complementary products. The WTS charter is to provide "one solution" including J.D. Edwards software and complementary product hosting and support, as well as wide area network (WAN) installation and support. Under the agreement, WTS is hosting 25 concurrent WorldSoftware users for Pelstar, including J.D. Edwards financials, distribution, manufacturing, and payroll suites. Pelstar is also using complementary third party products for financial reporting, EDI, and time collection.

"We are very pleased with the success of our J.D. Edwards software implementation with WTS," stated Pelstar's Senior VP of Finance and Operations Dan Maeir. "WTS was willing to do whatever it took to get our new system live." Pelstar was a recent divestiture from Sunbeam Products, Inc. and required a rapid implementation that allowed the production and manufacturing processes to continue while making the cutover from their legacy systems.

"We were able to enter sales orders the first day WTS took us live," said Maeir. Pelstar was live in less than 90 days on the WTS hosted solution. WTS also ensured that sales order fulfillment through EDI was integrated with J.D. Edwards and all the historical data was converted to the new system. Pelstar was required to make a move from its legacy system with limited knowledge about integrating complementary products with J.D. Edwards, many of which were essential to their manufacturing processes. During this implementation, Pelstar was able to consolidate to one geographic location without increasing headcount, which demonstrates one of the many benefits of working with an ASP.
