Growing high-tech company builds its brand to capitalize on market recognition Seattle, Washington, April 12, 2002 - WTS, Inc., the first application service provider (ASP) partner for J.D. Edwards collaborative commerce software, announced it has changed its name from World Technology Services, Inc. to WTS, Inc. For growing companies in evolving markets, updating brand strategy is key to market recognition. WTS partnered with Methodologie, a strategic design and brand development firm, to build its new identity. This process began with changing the company's brand and positioning, resulting in a new company name as well as a new identity and Web site. "We realized our customers and partners already referred to us as WTS, so an official name change just made sense. This existing foundation made the transition extremely smooth and the reaction very positive," said WTS President and CEO Tom Hughes. WTS will continue to implement its brand through activities that will clearly differentiate the company from its competition.
