The fast-growing global tax practice WTS Global with a representation in more than 100 countries wins the tax practice of FTI Consulting LLP (FTI) as its new member firm in the UK, thus continuing on its path of onboarding locally dominant, highly renowned tax firms in the respective local market.
The London based tax practice is led by five Partners who, together with their teams provide a broad range of tax advisory and compliance services on an international basis. Key areas of practice are: Corporate Tax Advisory, Restructuring Tax Advisory, Transactions, Compliance and Reporting, Tax Depreciation & Valuation, Transfer Pricing, Real Estate Tax, VAT and Indirect Tax Compliance. Clients of FTI Consulting include FTSE 100 major corporations, private equity and a broad range of international companies and investors.
“I am very happy that we could win FTI Consulting as a member for WTS Global, the more so as we have already been successfully cooperating with FTI Consulting on many client matters over the last few years”, Wim Wuyts, CEO of WTS Global states. “UK is the most important hub for inbound investments from the US and other overseas-countries into Europe and one of the strongest economies in Europe with significant outbound business. The accession of FTI Consulting goes hand in hand with the strengthening of our North American footprint and the opening of our US Tax Desk in New York and San Francisco. FTI Consulting being on board will also be a further impetus for our International Corporate high end tax advisory practice.”
“I am very pleased that we are now the exclusive member of WTS Global for the UK” states Ruth Steedman, Partner and Head of the FTI Consulting Transfer Pricing team, in an initial reaction. “We have been observing the dynamic development of the WTS Global practice and we are convinced that it will continue its success story as there is a clear need in the market for a non-audit, purely tax focused, global firm. Our teams are fully committed to contribute to building this firm on all levels.”
